This state-of-the-art program is given by the brachy team of St George and led by Dr Yaw Chin – Radiation Oncologist. Interstitial APBI expert Cristina Gutiérrez Miguelez from Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) in Barcelona will be present to provide her insights and experiences. The workshop is meant for multidisciplinary teams of radiation oncologists, breast surgeons and physicists interested to start up interstitial brachytherapy for breast cancer.

Participants obtain comprehensive practical insight into the clinical workflow of APBI brachytherapy. Practical issues, solutions and constraints for each participating center are defined during extensive discussions on the practical aspects of implementing the technique.
