Workshop real-time image guided HDR brachy for prostate

Three very successful and highly appreciated workshops recently held at St James’s Institute of Oncology Leeds, preceded the fourth edition of the workshop “Real-time Image-guided HDR Brachytherapy for Prostate Cancer”, to be organised on June 7th and 8th. During those two days, radiation oncologists, clinical physicists and technicians will be trained on all ins and outs of the planning, workflow, needle positioning, and optimal dosing of real-time image-guided HDR brachytherapy for Prostate Cancer. The benefits of the real-time approach will be highlighted, both from a quality-implant perspective, and from a time-efficiency point of view. As a highlight of the program, the participants will attend a live patient implant, planning and treatment in the Operating Theatre.
