To attract young radiation oncologists and medical physicists to brachytherapy, Amsterdam UMC (location AMC), in collaboration with BrachyAcademy hosted the „Amsterdam Brachy College“ for the 5th time.

The event featured a great faculty team, such as Bradley Pieters, Henrike Westerveld, Cristina Gutierrez, Nicole Eder-Nesvacil, Danique Barten, and Karel Hinnen. At the start of the course, 18 participants from the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Spain, and Guatemala introduced themselves by delivering presentations about their radiation therapy departments and the current brachy practice. The program included lectures and hands-on sessions focused on brachytherapy applications in cervical, prostate, breast, and skin cancers.
