On January 18-20, 2024 BrachyAcademy organized the workshop covering all GYN brachytherapy indications at Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai with Dr. Supriya Chopra and the ESTRO teachers: Alina Sturdza, Remi Nout, Kari Tanderup.

We used 10 mannequins for the hands-on training and a full range of GYN demo applicators: Venezia, Geneva, Rotte, Cylinders and MUPIT.

The workshop attracted 38 Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists from India, South Africa, Kenya, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Additionally, 4 teams that had previously participated in the 2022 workshop delivered online presentations, sharing insights into how they implemented combined intracavitary/interstitial brachytherapy following their attendance at the workshop.
