First GYN BrachyAcademy workshop in the US with CME Credits

On April 23–24, BrachyAcademy organized its first GYN workshop at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, USA.

Eleven participants from the United States, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador attended the event. The program covered the full brachytherapy workflow of CT-MR image-guided brachytherapy in cervical cancer, including observation of a live clinical case involving IC/IS brachy, ultrasound-guided hands-on implant simulation using phantoms, and hands-on training in treatment planning.

This was the first BrachyAcademy course to offer CME certification. UT Southwestern also provided Spanish language support for participants from Latin America.
