In this webinar, Dr. Supriya Chopra, Professor Radiation Oncology, Advanced Centre of Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ATREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, India, will talk about the key considerations for fractionated gynecological brachytherapy during Covid times.
Dr. Chopra will discuss bridging the gap between research and clinics that face the pandemic and share an institutional experience of restructuring gynecological brachytherapy during a nationwide lockdown.
Following Dr. Chopra’s presentation, we’ll host an international panel with Dr. Mahdi Aghili, HOD Radio-Oncology cancer institute of Iran- Imam Khomeini Hospital; and Prof. Dr. Yasemin Bölükbaşı, Head of Brachytherapy & Dept. Chair, Koc University, Istanbul, Adjunct Professor, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dept. of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Mahdi Aghili and Prof. Dr. Yasemin Bölükbaşı bring their perspectives on how they dealt with the clinical cases during the pandemic in their respective nations.
